Oregon Coast Visitors Association Presents Mountain Bike Oregon 2024

Posted in

We’re getting hyped for Mountain Bike Oregon (MBO), the all-inclusive three-day mountain biking festival featuring world-class singletrack in Oakridge, Oregon.

Oregon Coast Visitors Association (OCVA) is this year’s title sponsor, and our staff can’t wait to hit the trails with the mountain bikers traveling from all over the Pacific Northwest, and the world, to experience this bucket-list event.

About the Event

MBO includes 3 days of Oregon’s best all mountain singletrack trails, onsite camping and bike vendors, evenings in the Hydro Flask beverage garden with free Deschutes Brewery and Oakshire beer, 2 Towns cider,  J. Wright, Vintner wine, Humm Kombucha, and opportunities to demo the industry’s best mountain bikes for free!

Ladies AllRide, the nation’s top women mountain bike skill camp, will also be hosting 2 and 3-day camps for women who are newer to mountain biking and want to build solid foundation skills! Kids are also welcome to join junior camps for ages 5-9 and 10-15. The event truly has something for every kind of rider and we can’t wait to see everyone testing and expanding their skillset!

This is the mountain bike event of the year, hosted in the mountain biking capital of the Pacific Northwest – a true singletrack paradise. We’ll be riding just outside Oakridge and Westfir, in the heart of the Cascade Mountains at the base of the famous Alpine Trail. Registration for Mountain Bike Oregon is now open, and riders can choose from 6 packages depending on ability level and distance preferences (get there quick, because two ride packages are already sold out!). OCVA staff will be riding too, so register for Ride Package #1 to hang out with the crew and chat about all things Oregon Coast!

MBO + OCVA

After an epic weekend inland, we’re encouraging riders to take the long way home and enjoy a piece of our 365 miles of coastline, where they will find endless adventure possibilities (surfing, kayaking, local seafood) and even more incredible singletrack along the entire coast, including the Klootchy Creek trail system in Clatsop County, Big Creek trails in Lincoln County, and Whisky Run trails in Coos County. We’ll also be hyping up our coastal Mountain Biking series Ride the Dirt Wave, which hosts events at three trail systems.

Ride the Dirt Wave was created to showcase the mountain bike trail systems on the Oregon Coast – which have been a labor of love from the local bike clubs that hit the trails year-round. Our partnership with MBO is an incredible opportunity to collaboratively highlight all the hard work that has gone into building these trails, bring together the mountain biking community, and to present Oregon as the premiere mountain biking destination for the Pacific Northwest.

We can’t wait to see you on the trails!
