Oregon Business awards Logos Public Charter School 3rd Place in 100 Best Non-Profits to Work For in Oregon

“There is a constant forward-minded progression here…”

Medford, October 7, 2019 – Based on anonymous staff surveys, Logos Public Charter School was named #3 by Oregon Business Magazine’s 100 Best Nonprofits to Work for in the large business category in Oregon!

For the previous 3 years, Logos staff have participated, putting Logos in the top 100 each year. Executive Director Sheryl Zimmerer is grateful for a staff that works in unison to create an invigorating learning environment for 1,000 students.

It’s been an exhilarating start of the 2019-2020 school year as Logos celebrates its 10th Anniversary. First, 300 guests from the business community attended the Ribbon Cutting by Medford Chamber of Commerce on August 27th. On September 3rd, the learning spaces were filled with enthusiastic students and teachers. On Friday, October 4th, ebullient students squealed with delight as they dashed to the first-ever Logos playground, complete with straight and curly slides, climbing sites, and a multi-person swing.

This weekend’s announcement of Logos attaining 3rd best in Oregon Business Magazine’s 100 Best Non-Profits to work for is like frosting on the cake. Sheryl Zimmerer, Executive Director of Logos, is smiling ear to ear. “It’s just so awesome to feel the energy of possibility and accomplishment. The students have this wonderful new school filled with staff that works every day to find innovative ways to personalize learning for them. We have parents that are dedicated to their student’s success, and a community that supports us. I’m very proud and humbled by it all.”
